Add B-roll to talking videos, automatically
Record yourself talking and drop the clip into Zera. The AI does the part that usually takes hours: it listens to every line, finds the moments that need something to look at, and cuts in B-roll, motion graphics, punch-in zooms and word-by-word captions. The edit opens on a real timeline, so every choice it made is yours to change.
- Up to 3 min per video
- 15 credits a 30-second reel
- English, Hindi and Hinglish speech
- No watermark on export
01How it works
Three steps.
- 01
Pick a talking video
Any clip up to three minutes from your gallery: a tip, a review, a story, a vlog. One take is enough.
- 02
Zera listens and plans
It transcribes what you say, works out what each line is about, and plans where B-roll, graphics, zooms and captions go.
- 03
Finish it in the editor
The edit opens on the timeline. Swap a clip, move a zoom, restyle the captions, then export in up to 4K.
- 01
Drop in a talking video
Anything up to three minutes, straight from your camera roll. One take is enough.
- 02
Zera listens to every word
It transcribes what you say and works out what each line is about.
- 03
It plans the edit
Which lines get B-roll, which get a graphic, where to punch in, where captions land.
- 04
You get the edit, not a template
Everything lands on a real timeline in the editor. Change any of it, then export.
02What Zera does
- Stock B-roll matched to what you are saying, searched from Pexels' library of free-to-use footage
- Animated motion graphics for your words: titles, lists, numbers and callouts
- Punch-in zooms on the lines that land
- Word-by-word captions, in English, Hindi or Hinglish
03What stays yours
- Every B-roll clip, graphic, zoom and caption is its own item on the timeline: trim it, replace it, move it or delete it
- Restyle the captions: 28 animations, font, colour, glow and outline
- Add music, filters, transitions and text like any other project
- Export at 480p, 720p, 1080p, 2K or 4K, at 30 or 60 fps
04Limits and cost
What it takes.
- Your video
- A talking video, from 4 seconds up to 3 minutes
- Cost
- 15 credits for a 30-second reel, charged by the second
- If it fails
- The credits come back
- Result
- Opens in the editor; export from 480p to 4K
for example A 30-second reel costs 15 credits, so the 50 free credits every new phone gets make about 3 reels, and the Basic plan makes about 20 a month.

06FAQ
Questions,
answered.
01What is B-roll?
B-roll is the footage that plays over your talking shot to show what you are describing: the city you mention, the gym, the laptop, the money. It keeps viewers watching through the parts where a talking head alone might lose them.
02Where does the B-roll come from?
From Pexels, a library of stock footage that is free to use. Zera searches it for each moment it picks, so the clips follow what you say.
03Can I replace a clip I don't like?
Yes. Every piece of the edit is a separate item on the timeline, so you can swap a B-roll clip for your own footage, trim it, move it, or delete it.
04Does it work for Hindi or Hinglish videos?
Yes. Zera transcribes English, Hindi and Hinglish speech and plans the edit from it. Captions can be written in English, in Hindi (Devanagari) or in Hinglish (Roman letters).
05How long can my video be?
From 4 seconds up to three minutes for AI B-roll. For longer recordings, cut the part you want first in the editor, then run AI B-roll on it.
06Is there a watermark?
No. Exports have no watermark, on the free plan too.
07Is it available on iPhone?
Not yet. Zera Studio is on Android, through Google Play.
